Little Ms. Isabelle decided that tonight after dinner it was time. She walked from mom to dad and then past dad and the way down the hall to the front door. By the time we got the camera she was a little tired. But right now as I write this post, she is walking all over!!!
Miss Isabelle loves to help me unload the dishwasher. While I was putting away some dishes she decided to climb on up. When I walked back around the counter this is what I saw. My little monkey was just sitting there smiling back at me. I guess she knows how to climb up on things. I have to keep my eye on her at all times!
Isabelle is learning Spanish. She knows that adios means bye bye.
(She does it all the time, but as soon as we grab the camera she gets shy)
You will just have to see her do it in person!
Also, she knows that car keys mean that we are leaving.
When she sees the keys she waves bye bye!
At our last visit to the Doctors office he told us that Miss Isabelle needs to be done with bottles by the time she is one. So since she is almost one I decided I better start trying to transition her from a baby bottle to a big girl sippy cup. It only took one day, she just learns so fast!
Isabelle is a big girl now!
I just do not know where this whole year went.
I guess time flies by when your having fun. That is definitely the truth for this past year.
I am just going through a ton of emotions. I am so excited to experience the next step of having a toddler, but I am going to really miss Isabelle being our tiny little baby. It is sad to think that her first year is almost over. It feels like yesterday when we brought her home from the hospital. It was amazing to see her grow through the year (being able to roll over, her first giggle, sitting up, her first smile, crawling, I can go on forever.) I will cherish this last year for the rest of my life.
I just hope time slows down or I find a way to keep my babies small forever.
We just had to buy this onesie for our little June baby!
What do you think?
Yes, you read it right.
Isabelle Marie is going to have a little brother.
Poley Augustine Bustamante Buxton
Just kidding still working on the name.
Yesterday, we went in for the big ultrasound and we both went in thinking it has to be a girl. When the doctor said, "It's a boy!" We were both so shocked, but extremely excited. We just our over the moon about having a little baby boy, hopefully he takes after is handsome daddy.
Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound:
It's a boy!
Covering his little face.
Sucking on his fingers.
Two tiny little feet!
Only 4 1/2 months to go!
Here is alittle snapshot of the moment. It is a close up, so you can really only see her little legs. We will try to get a better video of her walking.
I got these adorable knitted beanies for Christmas. So we definitely had to do some photos!
Thank you Tracey!
She walks backwards.
I am not sure how she learned to do this, but one day she just started moon walking.
She is standing by herself.
The last couple weeks she has learned to stand alone, but she would fall as soon as she knew no one was holding her. Now she will stand all by herself!
Isabelle has always enjoyed using her little walker, but now she absolutely loves it. As soon as she wakes up she wants to start walking. She will do like 10 laps none stop, take a sip of water and off again she goes. I guess she is just getting ready to walk.
Thank goodness for our long hallway!
