Fun Little Activities

I have been working at a preschool for one of my classes this semester and every month their theme and activities change.  So I have been trying out some of these activities at home with my kiddos.  

This activity was called Ice Exploration.

 You fill a balloon with water and put little items inside.  For Isabelle's I put little plastic hearts and for Bronson's I put a little car.  Once it is frozen you cut it out and the items are now in the ice.  The kids thought that was pretty neat.  They first decided to play ice hockey (aka air hockey), they are clever. 

  Once they were done playing around they used little hammers to excavate their toys from the ice. 

Overall this activity was really fun.  A little messy, but it was only water.
