Staying Home

We decided to wait another year for preschool. We were all set to have her go and then one day she said "Mommy I want to stay home with you." She was not the only one that was questioning it, mommy and daddy were not ready to let her go either. We still went to the orientation and ordered her backpack, but then we realized she really was not ready. I did not want to force her to go, I want to make sure it is a good experience for her. She still has two years before kindergarten plus next year Bronson can start too. We are going to take this next year to do some other activities. Tomorrow is our first day of swim lessons. The kids are so excited to go. Then on Fridays we have soccer with cousin Bradley.

I love when there is a clear answer:) She's a smart cookie who knows what she wants:)

Good call. Plenty years of schooling just waiting.

So adorable ~ her in her kitchen! I'm totally with you. No need for preschool unless they WANT to go. It should be fun and not forced! Carter LOVES it, but it broke my heart a little bit leaving him on his first few days. Maybe Keaton will be my mama's boy ;)
