Garage Sale Goodies
Isabelle and I were running a few errands and spotted some garage sales. We found some good things for a great price! I decided to look up everything to see the regular price and it added up to $100. I didn't pay that though, all these things only came to $10. Can't beat that! Now if Gramma Cupcake would have been there that price would have been in half, she is a professional when it comes to garage sales.

Today's activity was discovering shapes.
It happen to be all girls in class and of course Isabelle was the cutest.

Sleepy Head
Isabelle is never the one to fall asleep when there is action going on around her. We were very surprised when we glanced over and saw her snoozing at the dinner table. The sweet potatoes must of hit the spot!

Baby Jellies
These are the smallest Jelly sandels that I can find. They are still too big for Isabelle, but she will be so cute when she can wear them.
Cooking With Nana
If you know Nana, you know that she loves to cook. So Isabelle got a one on one lesson from her.
You could almost hear her thinking, "oh that's how Nana does it."
She especially liked learning about all the cooking utensils.

My Friend Mia
Isabelle was so excited yesterday when her friend Mia stopped by. Mia just turned 9 months and she just lives a few houses down from us. Isabelle loves to play with other babies, she just seems so fascinated by them. We need to find a play group!

A Day at the Beach
Isabelle said she wanted to get out and get her toes in the sand.
She made sure to tan both sides equally.
She enjoyed some cold juicy-juice.
Her first time in the pool.
Daddy gave Isabelle swimming lessons.
She played in the water with mom.
She took a long nap after a day in the sun.

Family Reunion 2009
This past weekend we went to the annual Bustamante/Gonzales family reunion in San Jose. Isabelle's Great Grandpa has 14 siblings in his family so it is always fun to go and see everyone.
Being the only ones from Nevada we decided to wear blue shirts with our names on it. It really helps out since we have such a big family.
This is probably 2/3 of the family.
The oldest and the youngest of the Nevada crew.
On the way home from the fun weekend we had some car trouble and were stuck on the side of the road. Thank heaven for AAA!
Even in the heat of the day on the side of the road Isabelle kept on smiling.

Hot August Nights
It is Hot August Nights here in Reno, so we took Isabelle cruzin. She put her poodle skirt on and hopped right in the 1947 Cadillac.
The perfect little model! 
Our family friend Diane Boone was so nice to make Isabelle her poodle skirt. It really is the cutest thing I have ever seen and it will be a forever keepsake for Isabelle. Diane is very talented and I recommend her if you have any sewing needs.
