The Happiest Place on Earth

We just got back from our first family trip to Disneyland, Nana and Tata came with us to!! We had so much fun, it went by way too fast though. The kids were so excited to go to Mickey Mouses house. Isabelle definitely understood where we were going, but Bronson did not realize till we got there.Of course we had to bring their Minnie and Mickey bags.

Before we got there we knew we would be waiting in some long lines, but it was not as bad as we thought. They both did very well. Isabelle did not whine at all and Bronson was alittle antsy but they both amazed us with their patience.
We saw most of the characters except Buzz Lightyear :(
Bronson was alittle timid, so he enjoyed seeing them from afar.

I think the best ride was Toy Story. It was so much fun, as you can see Bronson was enjoying it.
Disneyland really took it out of him.

We really did not buy too many souvenirs, but Bronsy had to have Buzz Lightyear.
Cooling off
The one thing that I wanted to make sure we did on our trip was to go to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It is a princess salon. Isabelle got to go in and pick what princess she wanted to be.
Can you guess which one?
They did her hair, nails, and make-up. She really enjoyed it!!
Princess Snow White, she looked so cute.

On our last day there we made sure to stay late to watch the parade.
The kids loved seeing all the characters.

This is one trip we will never forget, we all had so much fun. I am looking forward to our next Disney adventure.

Being good little boys at dinner, well the coloring entertained them for a few minutes, but then it was time to play.

Check up- 3 Years Old

Isabelle had her well visit with Dr. Clark. She had to do an eye exam and she did so well. They made her name objects such as a house, umbrella, and an apple . The doctor was also really impressed with her growth spurt. Isabelle has always been on the petite side. This check up she weighed in at 29.5 pounds and 35.5 inches tall. She was little above the 50% percentile. Amazing!!

Isabelle's Ballet Studio

I still can't believe Isabelle is 3. Where did my little baby girl go?
Well her birthday party was so much fun. I decided to go with a ballet theme since she loves her ballet class.
Welcome to Isabelle's Ballet Studio.

I had little wands for all the little ballerinas.

I made my dining room into the ballet studio. I think it turned out pretty cute!!
They love each other.
Isabelle's ballet instructor came over to teach a ballet class. All the little girls looked so cute in their little tutus!!

I think Isabelle really enjoyed it.
Happy Birthday to our beautiful little ballerina!!

Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Just way too much food and toys. Santa brought Isabelle a new kitchen and a cute little kitty and Bronson got a home depot workbench with all of the tools. They were definitely on the nice list!! Love this picture!!
Waiting patiently to open gifts.

Baking Cookies

We decided to bake some cookies yesterday. My two little helpers really enjoyed it. Bronson was having fun stirring the flour. Very messy, but it was fun. He was also our little taste tester. We made Gingerbread Christmas Trees, I think they turned out cute!!

Breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus

They were both so excited to see Santa this year.

This is the first year that little Miss Isabelle didn't cry when she saw Santa Claus. She actually greeted him with a hug and she asked Santa for a kitty cat for Christmas. Bronson looked handsome as always and just sat with Santa. I think he was more amused with the carolers.
I am so excited for Christmas morning!!

Our little Artist

Look at this amazing artwork.

I took the kids to the discovery museum and there is a spot where the kids can paint and color on the window. I was watching Isabelle and this is what she drew. I think it is really good!!

Amazing!!

So I am truly amazed with my little Bronson. Whenever I take Isabelle to the bathroom Bronson goes with us, he started showing interest in the potty so I started sitting him on it and he would go pee pee. Well last week I was sitting on the couch and he came up and said " Mama poo poo." He grabbed my finger and took me to the bathroom, so I put him on the potty and he went. Yes, at 17 months old he went poo poo on the potty. Sooooo Amazing!! Of course, I had to call everyone and tell them. Well I truly thought it was a one time thing just because he still is my little baby, but he keeps doing it. The other night during dinner he kept saying poo poo. So I took him and he amazed me once again. We just need to work on him telling me he needs to pee pee and maybe sooner then I thought I will have two potty trained kids. I am not sure I would know what to do, as crazy as it sounds I might miss having to change diapers.

Go Bronson!!

More from our visit

We went over to Auntie Lindsey's house and the kids loved playing with their dogs, especially Big J.

This is where Bronson learned to say "Hi puppy."

Even this morning when he woke up he was rolling around his crib just saying puppy.

He is silly!!

This is such a great picture!!

Then we stopped at this wonderful little ice cream shop. We had a wonderful trip!!
